JOB SUMMARY

Production Managers are responsible for planning and executing a wide range of projects not limited to events, activations and marketing communication efforts from small meetings to large conventions and from micro to full length campaigns. They work with Accounts, Creatives, Strategists and Clients to determine their needs and then plan out the entire process, from initial concept to final execution.

Project Managers may also be tasked with curating and managing vendors, coordinating with internal project stakeholders to outside contractors, and overseeing other aspects of a project. Their job is to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day of the event, activation or campaign from setup to clean up and they’re often the point person for any issues or concerns that arise during the project itself.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Managers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

  • Coordinating with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are running smoothly
  • Communicating with vendors, suppliers, project based personnel, and talents to ensure that they are aware of any issues or changes that may affect their tasks
  • Managing the overall budget, including expenses related to the project such as venue rental fees, catering costs, talent fees and supplier costs
  • Supporting the Creatives team by developing and implementing a feasibility plan, logistical directions for project pitches.
  • Creating a detailed agenda for the event, including speakers and performers, topics of discussion, and any special activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects including but not limited to events, activations, conferences, trade shows, webinars, concerts and other marketing communication efforts either the nature is direct to consumer, b2b or corporate.
  • Create and manage timelines for all assigned events, ensuring that all scheduled tasks and changes are tracked, manifested and reported within all the project stakeholders including accounts, suppliers and clients.
  • Monitor event, activation or campaign registration process and provide weekly reports to clients.
  • On-site management of all assigned events, including but not limited to: set-up, break-down, audio/visual, food & beverage, and décor
