Position Overview

You will work collaboratively with other business areas along with 3rd party partners/vendors in providing ongoing project management support, advice, reporting, and subject matter expertise for customer projects which may include complex product onboarding, bespoke automation, and technology integration project delivery and/or agile (SCRUM) based internal development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Governance
  • Establish and oversee project governance, processes, and operations management from start to finish.
  • Develop Management Information reporting and governance to measure project performance, provide insights, and address scope creep.
  • Ensure that the appropriate project governance framework is in place and followed accordingly for all projects.
  • Establish a change control process to manage changes to the project scope.
  • Responsible for recommending the ongoing development of project management tooling, including the use of Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Project & Portfolio Management
  • Effectively manage the portfolio of projects within the Products Division.
  • Develop project plans and delivery estimates to support proposal development and execution.
  • Coordinate an effective project planning and delivery process, ensuring appropriate prioritization and communication.
  • Ensure services are delivered to customers and project scope expectations align with the SOW (Statement of Work).
  • Accountable for the successful completion of projects, ensuring effective management and delivery within agreed timescales.
  • Accountable for the change control process to maintain profitability as planned and forecasted.
  • Manage all activities, meetings, risks, and issues occurring within projects, both with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular project reviews with business customers to ensure performance expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead a coordinated approach to TQA Project Management across the Products division, interfacing with the wider professional services business as required.
  • Act as a point of escalation for in-flight projects, in collaboration with the Customer Success Management (CSM) function.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder relationship management maps and plans to proactively maintain service delivery.
  • Maintain client relationships to successfully hand over projects into delivery.
  • Build stakeholder relationships at all levels with business customers.
  • Operations & Agile Project Management
  • Assist with the management of internal Product operations and development activities, acting as SCRUM Master.
  • Manage the backlog, standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile meetings as required.
  • Oversee project operations, ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines.
  • Rally teams to meet deadlines and contribute effectively to projects.

Required Skills And Experience

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, commercially astute, cool under pressure, and driven by successful client outcomes.

  • +5 years plus experience as a project manager leading on technical implementation and/or integration projects or programs (RPA or similar).
  • Significant Agile project methodology experience
  • Commercially astute and understands the need to baseline and manage project costs.
  • Highly collaborative and capable of establishing and maintaining good stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently as required.
  • Team player and emotionally intelligent enough to lead across a multi-disciplinary team of varied personalities and skill sets.
