The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivatedSenior Urban Designer(Environmental Planner) to join our growing Cities, Planning and Design team in Manila. The ideal candidate will haveat least 8 (eight) yearsrelevant design experience in Planning and Design consultancy for integrated city developments and/or the public sector.

The position presents an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work across a wide range of projects for both public and private sector clients as well as be involved in business development and further growth and establishment of the team. In addition to local projects, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects throughout the South East Asia (SEA) region.

Your role in our team


  • Supporting the Project Director in the development of the bid;
  • The day-to-day management of the project;
  • Setting up and managing the Project Team;
  • Liaising with the Client as directed by the Project Director
  • Supporting and keeping the Project Director informed of project progress and any potential problems;
  • Requesting assistance from the Project Director in a timely manner;
  • Preparing and maintaining the Project Plan and sharing it with the team;
  • Managing the project schedule;
  • Managing the preparation and implementation of the risk register;
  • Managing scope, recording changes and instructing the team on any necessary actions;
  • Managing and monitoring the financial performance of the project, including regularly updating the financial forecasts;
  • Managing the planning and co-ordination of all technical activities;
  • Overseeing the interfaces between the project and any other associated projects;
  • Managing external and internal sub-consultants;
  • Managing invoicing and cash collections;
  • Controlling and managing key documents and deliverables;
  • Planning and managing the technical and commercial reviews of the project at all appropriate stages;
  • Capturing the knowledge gained on the project and feeding into the firm’s knowledge networks;
  • Communicating project progress with the Project Team.


Is this role right for you?

Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.


  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with alternative project delivery methods, including design-build, progressive design-build, CM/GC, and public-private partnership (P3) projects (including DBFOM and other forms of P3) are preferable.
  • PMP, CCM, or equivalent certifications, is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably project management software such as Primavera P6 and other relevant tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and a creative approach to problem-solving with a focus on continual improvement and delivering sustainable and value-led project outcomes.
