Description

Responsibilities of the Project-in-Charge are outlined as follows:

  • Prepare the overall plan and monitor of the installation work programmed to ensure successful completion of the project will deliver on time with quality within the budget.
  • Be the key personnel for technical and management decision on the project.
  • Liaise with the general contractor for overall construction planning and implementation of rules and regulations. includes acquisition of permits/ licenses occupancy bonds and insurances as well as bidding and awarding.
  • Covers project planning organizing leading monitoring reporting and controlling during the actual construction works.
  • Timely Payment processes and billings.
  • Supervision and monitoring of progress accomplishments.
  • Prepares Pert /CPM, from Bills of Materials, labors, schedules, tools and equipment.
  • Counter checking of the design’s plans and submittals.
  • Handles and reviews contract and documents of the awarded projects.
  • Monitors project cash flows of each project.
  • To conduct final post construction testing and commissioning on all electro mechanical, auxiliary & plumbing system of newly constructed projects prior to turn over to property managers.
  • Assure that the installed equipment’s and systems conforms to the standard working parameters set by the consultants of the project based on best practices.
  • Coordination, planning, design, engineering, construction management, contracting, procurement, project controls and other services for construction of new facilities, up-grading of existing facilities, and transfer of technology.
  • Testing and commissioning of all electro Mechanical work of all new buildings. to ensure the optimum performance and system reliability of the building.
  • Supervision on the testing and commissioning of all electro-mechanical facilities during pre-operational stage.
  • Supervision on the evaluation and comparison of actual equipment performances versus original consultant design criteria and performance codes.
  • Evaluation of testing and commissioning procedures submitted by the contractor.
  • Turn-over of all commissioned equipment’s to the building admin.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HVAC systems and chilled water technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


Work Environment

  • Typically employed in construction, engineering firms, or facilities management.
  • May involve site visits and collaboration with various stakeholders.
