Description

Purchasing Coordinator sources goods and services in the organization. They have to ensure that procurement in the organization is efficiently carried out, cost-effective, and in compliance with current regulations. Procurement officers are thus in a position to secure the best deals in the buying of goods and services while ensuring good quality.


  • Initiate sourcing, bidding, negotiations and vendor accreditation of newly developed suppliers
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers. Minimum three ( 3 ) suppliers per item
  • Ensure that products and supplies meet high-quality standards
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers, including their qualifications, delivery times, and potential for future development

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with management and staff at all levels
  • Proven Experience : Minimum 1 year as Procurement Officer or in a similar role within Supermarket, Hotel and Restaurant industry.
  • Educational Requirements : Bachelors degree in Business Management
