Job Description
- Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal prices and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics.
- Analyze market trends to forecast future buying needs.
- Collaborate with various departments to maintain seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the food or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong background in sourcing raw materials, packaging supplies, and food-grade
- ingredients.
- Experience working with suppliers/vendors compliant with food safety standards.
- Existing network of reliable suppliers and vendors in the food manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
