Purchasing Staff - Responsible for sourcing, selecting, and purchasing high-quality Bangus(milkfish) and tilapia from suppliers, fish farms or trading hubs. The role ensures that procurement is done efficiently, cost effectively, and in line with quality standards. The purchaser negotiates prices, manages supplier relationships, and coordinates with internal teams for delivery and stock handling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Purchase fresh bangus and tilapia from trusted suppliers, fish farmers, or auction markets.

2.) Ensure fish meets quality standards (e.g size, freshness, weight).

3.) Monitor fish market trends and price fluctuations to buy at optimal rates.

4.) Build and maintain relationships with fish vendors, suppliers, and fishpond operators.

5.) Schedule and coordinate regular supply delays, shortages, or quality concerns.

6.) Resolve issues related to supply, shortages, or quality concerns.

7.) Negotiates prices with suppliers to meet target margins.

8.) Compare multiple sources to the the best quality at the lowest price.

9.) Track purchase costs and and submit reports for accounting and inventory.

10.) Maintain records of purchases, receipts, and delivery notes.

11.) Submit daily or weekly procurement reports to the management.'

12.) Assist in inventory tracking and reconciliation with the warehouse or sales teams.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

1.) With at least one (1) year experience as purchaser of bangus and tilapya and in wet market trading.

2.) Ability to manage numbers and data.

3.) With strong interpersonal skills, good at convincing people positively.

4.) Easy to adapt, willing to learn the business with persistence and endurance.
