Position purpose:

The Quality Assurance Analyst purpose is to create and execute test scenarios against developed software in an Agile environment. This role will provide feedback to the Developer and/or Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst on Passed or Failed test cases and will also ensure that any test environment issue discovered are promptly reported to the Quality Assurance Lead. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse project requirements and specifications as part test planning
• Write test scenarios, conditions, test cases, and test scripts
• Participate in peer reviews and address feedback in real-time
• Perform Functional and Regression testing, record the test results, and raise bugs
• Report daily test execution results in Scrum communal board
• Target a zero-defect leakage in every test stage gate signed-off
• Provide testing support during UAT and deployment when required
• In-depth knowledge of the application to test and testing tools implemented in the project
• Have the initiative to understand test in queue and raise any concern that may impact testing deliverable and/or overall project delivery
• Implement actions from Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Continuous skill development thru research and trainings
• Full attendance, focus, and active participation in Scrum meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospective)
• With background on automation
• Expected to perform automation tasks (scripting and execution) as needed

Required Experience / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• More than 2 years of solid technical testing experience on client-server applications, web technologies, mobile apps, back-end, and reports
• Vast knowledge on different testing tools and basic programming 
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC and testing under different test phases 
• Exposed on testing industry standards and best practices
• Basic knowledge and interest in test automation
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Have high analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have confidence in communication and have good presentation skills

• Work Shift : 5-day work week, 6:30AM to 3:30PM MNL.
