Performs various CT/MRI procedures as prescribed by the Radiologist on duty and following Standard Operating Procedures:

  • Checks request as to type of examination to be done and completeness of information
  • Gives instructions, explains to patient what to expect in the procedure and advises patient of the contraindications.
  • Ensures that the patient or relative properly signs the consent form.
  • Prepares items and equipment necessary for the procedure
  • Assists in positioning the patient before, during and after the procedure
  • Performs the desired examination

Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures.

Performs computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation.

Strictly follows CT-MRI protocols to ensure optimal scanner performance in terms of image quality.

Immediately notifies superior of any image artifacts or any equipment problem or malfunction.

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the working area.

Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
