Translate Clinical Documentation into Standardized Codes: Accurately review and analyze patient records to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in compliance with federal regulations and payer-specific guidelines.
Ensure Coding Accuracy and Compliance: Validate coding accuracy by cross-referencing clinical documentation with coding standards, ensuring alignment with CMS, HIPAA, and internal audit requirements to prevent claim denials and audits.
Collaborate with Providers and Clinical Staff: Engage with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation discrepancies, support accurate code assignment, and promote optimal reimbursement.
Maintain Up-to-Date Knowledge of Coding Changes: Stay current with updates in medical coding standards, payer policies, and regulatory changes through continuous education and active participation in coding seminars and webinars.
Support Revenue Cycle Efficiency: Contribute to faster and cleaner claims processing by submitting complete, timely, and precise coded data, reducing rework, and optimizing reimbursement across all payer types.

Graduate Of Any Allied Science Course
