  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
  • Develop detailed designs and layouts for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for a project
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Sketchup to create accurate and efficient system designs
  • Design electrical wiring plans, including the integration of solar systems with existing electrical infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and construction drawings
  • Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement
  • Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permitting and approvals
  • Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation
  • Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to align design objectives with project goals


Project Implementation:

  • Provide technical guidance during installation and construction
  • Oversee site preparation, equipment installation, and electrical works
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure alignment with design and schedule
  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Generate regular progress reports and project documentation
  • Maintain clear and organized records of all project-related activities
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to design and safety standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on solar energy and Design Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of local statutory rules and regulations related to solar energy projects
  • Technical expertise in solar energy systems and technologies
  • Familiarity with environmental and safety standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
