SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

We are seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Must have knowledge of Customs Brokerage or prior experience as a Sales & Marketing Manager in a brokerage setting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, building client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. A strong background in sales leadership—preferably within the Customs Brokerage industry—will be key to excelling in this role.


Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics; prepare regular reports on team progress.
  • Identify new market opportunities and spearhead lead generation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align strategies and optimize results.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to anticipate industry trends.
  • Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical standards.

Marketing Competencies


1. Strategic Marketing Planning

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote customs brokerage services (import/export clearance, documentation, consultancy).

Identify target markets (importers, exporters, freight forwarders) and create campaigns to acquire new clients.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to adjust marketing plans.


2. Business Development Support

Collaborate with the sales/business development team to generate leads and support client acquisition.

Build relationships with key clients, trade associations, and partners to expand market presence.

Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and service presentations.


3. Brand Management & Promotion

Maintain the company’s brand image across all marketing materials, online presence, and client communications.

Develop brochures, presentations, social media content, and other promotional materials specific to customs brokerage services.

Manage company participation in industry events, seminars, and trade shows.


4. Digital Marketing & Online Presence

Oversee digital marketing efforts (website content, SEO, social media campaigns) targeted to logistics and customs audiences.

Track performance metrics such as leads generated, website traffic, and campaign ROI.


5. Market Research & Reporting

Conduct research on potential industries or clients needing customs clearance services.

Analyze feedback, client satisfaction, and market data to guide service improvement and marketing strategy.

Prepare regular reports for management on marketing activities and results.


6. Collaboration & Internal Coordination

Coordinate with operations, sales, and customer service teams to ensure marketing messages align with service delivery.


7. Budget & Resource Management

Plan and monitor marketing budget to ensure cost-effective campaigns.


8. Compliance & Regulatory Awareness

Ensure all marketing materials comply with Philippine customs regulations and international trade laws.


  • Stay updated on changes in customs rules, tariffs, or procedures that may affect messaging or client advisory.

  • Increase in market share for customs brokerage services
  • ROI from marketing campaigns
  • Engagement on digital platforms (website, LinkedIn, industry forums)
  • Client satisfaction and feedback on communications or promotional materials
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Customs Brokerage & Logistics or related industries is an advantage
  • Proven experience in Customs Brokerage and/or Customs Administration
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills for expanding the sales niche


Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is an advantage
