Job Summary

Seeking a highly disciplined, results-driven individual to join our Sales Department as a Field Sales Representative. The successful candidate will administer the overall supervision of the supply chain operation for their assigned accounts, driving business development, ensuring substantial revenue growth, and achieving performance indicators across key trade channels. This role requires an individual who can uphold the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and relationship management.


​Key Responsibilities and Tasks

​The Field Sales Representative is directly responsible for performance across three main areas:

​1. Trade Level Management (Account/Distributor's Office)

  • ​Institute regular weekly meetings with buyers and distributors to coordinate on sales planning, forecasting, and addressing store opportunities and issues (e.g., shelf displays, out-of-stocks, purchase orders, deliveries, pricing, and service level).
  • ​Act as the lead person in the introduction of new SKUs, identifying trade opportunities, and conceptualizing in-store promotions in coordination with the Marketing Department.
  • ​Conduct monthly business development reviews covering assortment, promotions, sales volume, service level, distribution, and reach.
  • ​Develop and maintain a preferred relationship with buyers and key account personnel to cultivate partnership and ensure Customer Satisfaction.

​2. Field Execution and Operations

  • ​Institute regular trade visits on assigned outlets to ensure compliance.
  • ​Perform comprehensive field check activities focusing on product availability, visibility, pricing, inventory, promotion execution (both ours and competitors'), freshness, and housekeeping.
  • ​Ensure efficient product return (BO) management, striving to minimize the BO rate and not to exceed the allowable limit set by management.
  • ​Check the compliance and deployment of merchandising personnel according to approved manning.
  • ​Coordinate with the account's supply chain, selling area, inventory, and receiving sections.

​3. Administrative and Financial Compliance

  • ​Directly responsible for the timely submission of all required reports, including weekly & monthly itinerary, weekly expense reports, sales operation reports, and competitive activity updates.
  • ​Lead the preparation of account performance reviews and information gathering/analysis.
  • ​Manage Account Receivable Management, including reconciliation of receivables/payments, identifying details of deductions, and gathering/submission of Accounts Tax certificates.
  • ​Coordinate Delivery Execution to maintain updated product barcodes and synchronize account policy with other supply chain departments to achieve the account's desired service level and avoid delivery penalties.


​Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured against the following Key Result Areas:

​Sales Volume & Growth: Achieve assigned targets both monthly and annually; guarantee significant revenue growth (VS Target, VS Forecast, VS SPLY).

​Distribution: Maximize Numeric and Weighted Distribution/Reach across the territory.

​Service Level: Achieve and secure a desirable Delivery Fill Rate with accounts.

​Visibility & Spending: Ensure product Share of Shelf is equal to or greater than the market share; maintain correct pricing/tagging; recommend support that is within the limit or standard set by the company.

​Sales Efficiency: Minimize unreasonable costs, specifically the BO rate and Account Penalties.

​Quality of Work: Consistent adherence to the Sales Operation Policy and all instituted Official Rules and Regulations.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • ​Previous experience in field sales, account management, or a similar role, preferably within the FMCG or distribution sector (Western Visayas or Northern Mindanao).
  • ​Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan, forecast, and perform account performance reviews.
  • ​Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with buyers, distributors, and internal departments.
  • ​Must fully commit to the full and strict preservation of discipline and observe company rules and regulations.
  • ​Required to practice respect, courtesy, humility, and integrity in all dealings with customers, co-workers, and the public.
  • ​Willingness to travel and perform field work as required.
