Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safekeeping records, receiving, processing and maintenance of Lost & Found items.
  • Monitor entrances and exits; acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry.
  • Maintain access control procedure set by management.
  • Effectively utilize access control systems, visitor management system, Gallagher and iTrak. Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty.
  • Responsible in ID and Name Badge production and assigning lockers for team members.
  • Observes and reports activities and incidents to create secure environment. Prepares logs and reports as required.
  • In addition, as a Senior Officer of Security Concierge, he/she is responsible for assisting the Security Concierge Supervisor to lead the Security Concierge Team in their absence.
  • Must be a role model of the whole team especially of the Officers.
  • Must assist the Supervisors to lead, provide training, recommendations and support to the Officers in the required systems and related policies and procedures to provide an excellent point of service for all internal guests of NUSTAR Resort and Casino.
  • Other tasks, as directed by the Security Concierge Supervisor.
  • Provide a point of service to all internal guests of Nustar.
  • Monitor back of house (BOH) access.
  • Issuance and collection of Visitor, Contractor and Day passes.
  • Printing and distribution of staff ID cards and name badges.
  • Assist with the management and issuance of staff lockers, lock set and radio.
  • Receive and provide accountability for lost and found items including the return of lost and found items when a guest or staff claims.
  • Auditing of unclaimed lost & found items as directed by Supervisors or Assistant Manager of Security Concierge.
  • Maintain concise and accurate reporting and input of data for all staff entry systems as directed by Supervisors and Assistant Manager.
  • Maintain an effective relationship w/ all staff & customers within the work environment by presenting a professional image and dealing w/ incident in a discreet and confidential manner.
  • Effectively manage and maintain own quality of work performance and conduct, completing all tasks as directed.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all staff and customers by actively vetting persons entering or leaving site via Staff Entry.
  • Take appropriate action to prevent loss or illegal access to property and respond to all emergencies and alarms as requested and directed.
  • Effectively participate in the management of potential safety hazards including fire alarms, emergency situations and building evacuation.
  • Maintain and apply skills to deal with conflict situations that occur within the work environment in an appropriate manner and as per NUSTAR policies.
  • Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions immediately to Supervisor of Security Concierge.
  • Perform all duties as directed by Supervisors and Assistant Manager of Security Concierge and adhere to all policies and procedures.
