Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing engagement executives of engagement status, and following through on client requests in a timely manner
• Identify engagement and client service issues; research and benchmark client data to industry data in order to formulate insights, observations, and recommendations
• Execute tasks directed by the Manager, Senior Manager, and Partner, and explain the client's critical success factors to the engagement team
• Mentor and oversee day-to-day activities of associate team members
• Apply independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet engagement expectations, including regulatory requirements
• Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (e.g. guidelines of the EY FAAS Policy Manual), and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Holding a Certified Public Accountant license, or any related licenses is desired, but not required
• Minimum 3 years (post qualification) relevant experience
• Has good understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation and technical writing skills
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft 365 Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and the like is desired, but not required
• Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
