We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to shape the future of our partner's data strategy. If you thrive on solving complex problems, love working with cutting-edge technology, and have a knack for turning data into powerful insights, this role is for you. You'll work with Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, and Power BI to build and optimize data solutions that drive smarter decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the charge in managing and enhancing our business intelligence (BI) assets alongside the Financial Controller and IT Manager.
Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (pipelines, notebooks, dataflows) to ensure structured, reliable, and accessible data.
Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, process, and analyze data.
Develop, optimize, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that turn raw data into impactful insights.
Troubleshoot and resolve BI platform issues, ensuring seamless data operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Stay ahead of the curve—explore new trends, tools, and best practices to enhance data processes.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or BI
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
Expertise in Microsoft Fabric for building and managing data workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data systems
Excellent communication skills—can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in BI platform maintenance and business-as-usual (BAU) support

Bonus Points for

Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
Familiarity with Apache Spark, Databricks, or Hadoop
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance
