Description

  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, offering direction on task priorities and overall project status.
  • Oversee the full development lifecycle of web service applications, including design, coding, configuration, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and maintenance using diverse development toolkits.
  • Translate business requirements into precise technical documentation and development plans.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, as well as develop, test, and roll out software updates and improvements.
  • Ensure that application designs are consistent with architectural standards and align with business objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously build technical expertise through ongoing learning and participation in training opportunities.
  • Offer technical leadership and ensure that team deliverables meet quality standards and project expectations.
  • Promote and apply best practices, coding standards, and streamlined processes to optimize development workflows.
  • Serve as a key communication point for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Contribute to shaping the strategic direction and long-term goals of the organization’s software development initiatives.


Qualifications:


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field (undergraduates may also be considered).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Spring Boot.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Advanced debugging and performance tuning capabilities.
  • Proven experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Proficient in creating and interpreting UML diagrams, including use case, activity, and sequence diagrams.
  • Skilled in using modern development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaboration platforms like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead development teams and projects, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality solutions under pressure.


Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with tools and technologies such as Swagger, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), and RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Skilled in writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
  • Comfortable working with data formats and markup languages like JSON and YAML.
  • Experience using security and quality assurance tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, and WebInspect.
  • Familiarity with setting up and working within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
