Description

We’re hiring a Social Media Assistant to support our editors and marketers with account creation, content uploads, and day-to-day posting. You’ll help turn edited clips and assets into on-brand posts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube (long & Shorts), X, and Facebook, ensuring everything is correctly formatted, tagged, and scheduled.


  • Create and set up new brand and campaign accounts following our SOPs (naming, bios, security, brand assets).
  • Prepare and publish posts, Stories/Reels/Shorts, thumbnails, captions, hashtags, tags, and links.
  • Maintain the content calendar; schedule posts using approved tools (e.g., Buffer/Later/Hootsuite/Meta Business Suite/YouTube Studio).
  • Coordinate with editors to collect final cuts, subtitles, thumbnails, and metadata; perform final QC (spelling, aspect ratio, audio levels, copyright checks).
  • Coordinate with marketers to implement posting plans, UTM links, and campaign tags.
  • Organize assets and metadata in Notion/Drive; keep trackers and logs up to date.
  • Light community management: pin top comments, answer simple FAQs with approved responses, and escalate issues.
  • Monitor basic performance metrics after posting (views, CTR, watch time, comments) and flag wins or issues.
  • Stay current on platform best practices (titles, tags, ratios, length, compliance) and propose small optimizations.

  • Fast learner who can master SOPs quickly and suggest improvements.
  • Clear written English; can write short, error-free captions and hashtags.
  • Detail-oriented: double-checks links, tags, thumbnails, file names, and schedules.
  • Tech-savvy: comfortable switching between apps and can learn new tools fast.
  • Organized: keeps calendars, trackers, and folders up to date in Drive/Notion/Sheets.
  • Reliable and responsive during assigned hours; meets daily posting quotas.
  • Proactive problem solver who communicates blockers and proposes options.
  • Trustworthy with account access; follows security steps (2FA, password manager).
