Description
- Assist the Head Chef in menu creation and execution.
- Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Assist in managing kitchen operations efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of professional kitchen experience.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in cooking techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Assisting the Head Chef, ensuring food quality, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment with varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong organizational skills, creativity, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.
