Contract: 3-month Contract Potential to Convert into a Full Time role

Title: Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor

Job Description: 

• Will be working with complex claims-based revenue recognition, multiple entities/intercompany accounting, payroll accounting, and strong understanding of accruals, prepaids, external debt, and lease accounting.

• Ability to perform a detailed review of financial statements and of reconciliations and journal entries recorded by other team members, operating with appropriate oversight and an appropriate level of professional skepticism.  

• An understanding of commercial pay/billing (how do we recognize revenue, reserve rates, commercial payers, payroll for clinicians, fee for service which is based on claims, accruals, flat rates)

• Financial reporting

• Ability to take ownership, aggregate questions, and confidently leverage their license/knowledge/abilities

• This individual needs to be self-confident and solutions-oriented

Basic Requirements

• Strong accounting background

• Experience working with Sage Intacct

Bonus Points

• CPA

• Experience working healthcare or similar field

• Full-time for 3-months (possibility to extend long-term)

• Need to have availability and willingness to work 4-5 hours of overlap with Central Standard Time (Client is EST but majority of the team is CST)
