Description
The Supply Chain Performance Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of the supply chain processes and other units within an organization. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of commercial and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, implement strategies, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the smooth flow of materials, products, and information from the commercial end and across the supply chain.
- Monitors and assesses the performance of various supply chain functions, including procurement, production, inventory management, logistics, distribution and the commercial unit.
- Collects and analyzes data related to supply chain operations, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Leverages Business Intelligence tools for the development and execution of solutions.
- Creates dynamic reports for critical insights that contribute to Management decisions for continuous improvement.
- Develops dashboards and reports to present key performance metrics to stakeholders, highlighting areas of success and areas needing attention.
- Defines and establishes relevant KPIs to measure the demand and supply chain performance, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team and across relevant departments.
- Leads or participates in cross-functional projects to drive innovation, streamline processes, and implement new technologies
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operation Management, or related field.
- Must have at least seven (7) years of experience in purchasing, warehousing, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, and procurement processes, along with strong knowledge in production planning, inventory management, sales forecasting, and advanced planning systems.
- Must have an experience in financial planning and analysis which includes revenue and distribution costs management
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration across departments and external partners.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital tools, with strong presentation skills and experience in management reporting.
