Job Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets within assigned accounts or territory.
- Pursue leads, promote products, and conclude orders professionally.
- Coordinate with internal colleagues to execute sales orders.
- Provide feedback and reports to the Business Line Manager on sales activities and market information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Promote Industrial Air and Gas products whenever possible.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as instructed by the Business Line Manager.
Marketing Management:
- Increase market share and plan marketing strategies.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships.
- Enhance product knowledge and technical know-how.
- Conduct training and symposiums to ensure brand awareness and customer education.
- Position Atlas Copco as the preferred choice when required.
Marketing Activities:
- Sell and promote air compressors and auxiliary equipment within the assigned area.
- Visit and monitor customer activities.
- Search for prospects through various channels.
- Improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and contacts.
- Plan weekly visits and prepare draft quotations, faxes, and letters.
- Ensure proper use of company assets and report lost orders.
- Achieve yearly sales targets.
- Analyze customer needs and assist in equipment selection.
- Coordinate with customers to gather technical information for evaluation.
- Evaluate customer specifications and liaise with sub-contractors.
- Prepare layout drawings for compressor positioning when required.
- Supervise installation progress through site visits.
- Hand over documents to the Service Department for maintenance.
- Collect and analyze competitors’ data.
- Organize compressed air seminars for customers.
- Provide technical, commercial, and operational support for dealers and distributors.
- Develop new dealers and distributors within the assigned territory.
- Support the Finance Department in collecting payments from customers when required.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing within an industrial sales environment.
- At least one (1) year of experience in selling capital equipment to Chinese customers.
- Proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin at a business level is essential.
Knowledge:
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Skilled in presentation, business writing, negotiation, socializing, and technical selling.
- Expertise in value selling of capital equipment products.
Personality Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
