Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Execute automated tests using Selenium for web applications, ensuring continuous integration and efficient test coverage.
• Conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate data integrity and functionality in PostgreSQL databases.
• Perform load testing and performance testing using JMeter to evaluate the application’s performance under different conditions.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, ensuring they are accurately reported and prioritized.
• Collaborate with developers to debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the resolution of defects.
• Ensure that defects are re-tested after fixes, and all related test cases are updated accordingly.
• Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, test data, and defect reports using Confluence and Jira.
• Provide clear and concise test reports to stakeholders, including detailed information about test execution, results, and any issues encountered.
• Track test progress, provide regular updates, and participate in scrum meetings to discuss test coverage and issues.
• Set up and maintain appropriate test environments, ensuring that they accurately represent production environments.
• Work with development and operations teams to configure and maintain test data and testing tools.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and deliver test solutions.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues clearly to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate in a Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring test cycles align with sprint goals and timelines.
