RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement test strategies and plans that ensure comprehensive test coverage for all phases of the SDLC.
• Define and monitor test milestones, deliverables, and timelines to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with business needs and project objectives.
• Manage the test environment setup and coordinate with various teams to ensure proper testing resources are available.
• Lead the execution of manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Oversee the use of Jira for bug tracking, issue resolution, and test case management.
• Monitor the performance of applications through JMeter and ensure load testing and stress testing are thoroughly carried out.
• Conduct SQL-based testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and database performance using PostgreSQL.
• Use Selenium for automated functional testing of web applications and ensure the automation suite is optimized and maintained.
• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers in both manual and automated testing practices.
• Conduct test reviews, track testing progress, and ensure all defects are logged and properly prioritized.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the testing team, encouraging innovation, knowledge-sharing, and skill development.
• Create detailed test reports that outline results, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
• Provide regular updates on the test progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of test cases, test plans, defect logs, and processes using Confluence.
• Ensure all testing activities are aligned with quality assurance standards and best practices.
