The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Front-End Developer with a strong background in React. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in front-end development. Responsibilities include developing and implementing user interface components using React.js, Webpack and Jest. Additionally, the role involves profiling and improving front-end performance, as well as documenting our front-end codebase.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Writing unit tests using Jest
• Working with Playwright for end-to-end testing

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in front-end development.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with Typescript, Storybook and Webpack.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Experience with unit testing using Jest.
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
