The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage general accounting operations, ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), handle month-end/year-end close processes, and prepare financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with PFRS and company policies.

• Review and ensure compliance with BIR tax filing requirements (e.g., VAT, EWT, income tax, etc.).

• Coordinate with external auditors for audits and compliance checks.

• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.

• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting team.

• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA is compulsory

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Solid knowledge of Philippine tax laws and statutory requirements.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
