Job Summary/Overview

• A results-driven Mid-Level Developer with a strong backend development background is expected to design and build robust, scalable web and application solutions using the MERN stack—primarily Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks such as NestJS and ExpressJS. The role involves developing RESTful APIs, implementing software engineering best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, contributes to architectural planning, supports code quality through reviews and testing, and provides guidance to junior developers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a mid-level developer with a focus on the MERN stack (TypeScript, NestJS, JavaScript, NodeJS, MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS).
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain web and application-based solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and assist in process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Write and execute test cases to ensure product quality.
• Contribute to platform design and architecture by developing scalable and flexible solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and promote best practices.
• Conduct feasibility analysis and optimize project planning through detailed technical assessments.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, especially in Node.js development. Candidates must be able to demonstrate hands-on coding ability in JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, data structures, and debugging.
• Experience building high-performance, large-scale, distributed server applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and relevant frameworks like NestJS or ExpressJS.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices: clean code, version control (Git), testing, and code reviews.
• Solid logical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable with backend-focused development and RESTful API design.
• Experience with front-end technologies (especially ReactJS) is a plus.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology.
• Required language: English
• Preferably, with 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong backend JavaScript focus.
