Position: E-COMMERCE AND MARKETING ASSISTANT
Digital Sales Strategy Development and Platform Management
- Collaborate with the marketing head to create comprehensive digital sales strategies that are in line with the company's objectives.
- Research market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth in digital sales channels.
- Create actionable plans to increase online sales revenue and customer acquisition.
- Oversee the company's presence on online sales platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, GrabMart).
- Regularly update product listings, pricing, and promotional materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Provide insights and recommendations for digital marketing strategies to support sales goals.
- Coordinate promotional activities, discounts, and special offers across digital channels to stimulate sales.
- Assist with other assigned marketing tasks (e.g., marketing campaigns – traditional to digital).
Customer Relationship Management:
- Consolidate customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints received via digital channels (such as email, social media, and live chat) and forward them to the sales team or concerned department.
Build and maintain strong relationships with online customers to encourage repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
Sales Performance Analysis:
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate digital sales performance to the marketing manager, as well as discuss areas for improvement and sales strategy optimization.
- Order Processing and Fulfillment:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of online orders, including order verification, payment processing, and shipping coordination.
- Collaborate with the logistics and warehouse teams to streamline order fulfillment processes and minimize delays.
- Resolve order-related issues, such as product availability, shipping errors, and delivery discrepancies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital sales and e-commerce.
- Continuously evaluate and refine digital sales processes to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and sales performance.
- These duties and responsibilities are designed to ensure effective management of digital sales channels while contributing to the overall success of the sales department and the company's growth objectives.

Qualifications for an E-Commerce and Marketing Assistant
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience or internships in e-commerce, digital marketing, or social media management are preferred. Familiarity with online sales platforms and digital marketing tools is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and basic graphic design (experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices. Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with e-commerce platforms.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively.
- Analytical and Creative Abilities: Ability to analyze data and derive insights to optimize marketing strategies. Creative mindset to develop engaging content and innovative marketing campaigns.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude. Adaptable and willing to learn new tools and techniques in the evolving digital marketing landscape.
