Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Manila. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing journal entries and general ledger operations, maintaining fixed assets, and supporting overall finance functions. This role involves daily oversight of accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting, compliance with company policies, and coordination with various departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing Financial Statements and maintaining Fixed Assets
• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Finance principles
• Proficiency in managing Journal Entries and related accounting tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• 2- 3 years experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting team.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports or statements as needed.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
