Healthcare Customer Support Specialist

About the Role

  • As a Healthcare Customer Support Specialist, you’ll handle sensitive inquiries related to health benefits, insurance coverage, patient records, billing, and more. You'll be part of a team that prioritizes compassion, accuracy, and trust.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist patients and healthcare professionals with claims, coverage, and policy concerns
  • Guide callers with empathy and clarity, ensuring full understanding of healthcare benefits
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA or equivalent policies
  • Update records and resolve inquiries via call, email, or chat
  • Work closely with team leads to meet service standards and performance goals

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 0-6 months of BPO experience (healthcare or insurance is a plus!)
  • Strong English communication and active listening skills
  • High attention to detail and data privacy awareness
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Open to High School graduates, undergraduates, or degree holders
