Description

  • Greeting customers: Welcoming customers and providing a friendly and helpful experience. 
  • Operating cash registers: Scanning items, processing payments (cash, credit, debit), and issuing receipts. 
  • Handling cash: Accurately counting and handling cash, making change, and balancing cash drawers. 
  • Bagging purchases: Wrapping and bagging purchased goods for customers. 
  • Assisting with returns and exchanges: Processing returns and exchanges according to company policy. 

Requirements

  • Senior high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or retail
  • Providing customer service: Answering customer questions, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 
  • Maintaining a clean workspace: Keeping the checkout area organized and tidy. 
  • Following store procedures: Familiarizing oneself with and adhering to store policies regarding coupons, gift cards, and other procedures.
