Customer Service Representative


Salary Range - $692.00 to $865.00 per month


Join a thriving real estate management business dedicated to overseeing rent-stabilized properties and improving tenant satisfaction through efficient repair coordination and administrative excellence.


What You'll Do:

  • Respond to tenant calls regarding repair issues (e.g., no heat, leaks) and assign requests to building managers, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Prioritize repair-related calls while occasionally handling general inquiries, assessing urgency, escalating to supervisors if needed, and following up with tenants to confirm resolutions.
  • Input and track work orders in property management software, generate and distribute work order forms, and coordinate apartment access for inspections or repairs by contacting tenants and managers (approximately 10 outbound calls per day).
  • Ensure jobs are completed by monitoring progress, performing periodic status checks with managers, and following up with tenants to maintain satisfaction.


Who You'll Work With:

Be part of a dedicated team that manages approximately 2,000 rent-stabilized units, including Section 8 properties. You’ll collaborate closely with building managers and supervisors to resolve tenant concerns efficiently and uphold high standards across the properties we serve.

  • Highly organized: Exceptional ability to multitask and manage priorities without letting details fall through the cracks.
  • Customer service-oriented: Calm and professional demeanor when dealing with tenants, including challenging situations.
  • Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for tenant and manager interactions.
  • Tech-savvy: Familiarity with property management software is a plus; training will be provided. Comfort with tools like WhatsApp for daily operations is essential.

Work Details:

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST; Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST.
