JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Manager (Developer Management) to support and lead a team of developers focused on delivering impactful digital solutions. This role is key to driving innovation, ensuring high-quality output, and timely delivery through effective KPI tracking and efficient man-day planning. The successful candidate will champion development standards and best practices, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, and Copilot).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Data, AI, and Innovation Partner in managing and optimizing development functions across projects.

• Lead and mentor developers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Establish and enforce development standards, coding conventions, and quality assurance practices across the team.

• Track and analyze development KPIs (e.g., velocity, cycle time, defects, code quality) to ensure productivity and efficiency.

• Plan and monitor development man-days and capacity to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

• Manage the design, development, and deployment of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, while remaining open to other technologies as needed.

• Promote the use of Copilot and other AI-driven tools to enhance development efficiency.

• Oversee creation of reusable assets, frameworks, and low-code accelerators to reduce development time and cost.

• Drive continuous integration and deployment practices in coordination with DevOps and IT teams.

• Support automation and integration efforts using Python or other scripting languages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in application or solution development.

• Solid experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, Copilot) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or manage technical workstreams.

• Strong background in development lifecycle management, including man-day planning, task estimation, and resource tracking.

• Proven experience instilling coding standards and quality control practices.

• Familiarity with DevOps, Agile delivery methodologies, and performance metrics.

• Experience with Python is a plus (for automation, data processing, or system integrations).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (or similar)

• Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus
