Our client is seeking a Director for Business Support & Governance to lead their night shift operations. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of business operations within a Global Delivery Centre based in Taguig. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic changes, driving delivery of change initiatives, and ensuring excellent client service across all segments. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with global teams, manage diverse functions, and contribute significantly to the company's growth.

What You'll Do

As a Director for Business Support & Governance, your role will be pivotal in shaping the strategic direction of our client's operations within their Global Delivery Centre. You will be entrusted with developing both short and long-term business strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders. Your leadership will drive the development of client service propositions and ensure the delivery strategy for all operational functions is robust. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, identifying collaborative opportunities, and implementing effective people management strategies.

  • Develop short and long-term business strategy in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of client service propositions and service delivery strategy for all operational functions.
  • Ensure optimum number and quality of resources required to deliver functional objectives.
  • Work closely with BU management heads to establish areas of client service that need to be measured.
  • Drive ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
  • Plan and manage budget for the Broking Operations business segment.
  • Identify opportunities to work collaboratively on alignment of strategic activity.
  • Implement effective succession planning, people management, development, recruitment, and retention strategies.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Director role brings a wealth of experience from the financial services industry, particularly in a leadership capacity. Your excellent English communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with stakeholders at various levels. Proficiency in standard Microsoft packages is essential for this role. Your strong background in stakeholder management coupled with your ability to lead diverse teams will be crucial in driving change initiatives. Your ability to forecast or identify new trends in the market will be instrumental in shaping our client's strategic direction.
