We are on the hunt for a skilled and passionate Junior Video Editor with experience in podcast editing and social media content creation to join our team. If you’re ready to bring ideas to life and elevate brands through creative content, we want to hear from you.

As an Experienced Junior Video Editor, you will play a key role in crafting compelling video and audio content that aligns with our brand and client objectives. You will work closely with our creative team to edit, refine, and deliver visually and audibly engaging content for podcasts, social media, websites, and other platforms. 

This role is perfect for someone with a solid video and audio editing foundation, a keen eye (and ear) for detail, and a passion for storytelling. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines. 

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage and audio into polished, engaging videos and podcast episodes. 
• Create short-form content (e.g., social media clips, reels, highlights) from longer videos and podcasts. 
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video and podcast concepts that align with project goals. 
• Add motion graphics, sound effects, music, and other elements to enhance video and audio quality. 
• Ensure all content is optimised for different platforms and formats (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify). 
• Colour correct and grade footage to maintain visual consistency and quality. 
• Edit podcast audio for clarity, pacing, and consistency, including noise reduction, levelling, and mixing. 
• Manage and organise video and audio assets, ensuring efficient workflow and file management. 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our work. 
• Assist in pre-production planning, including storyboarding, shot lists, and podcast episode outlines. 
• Handle feedback and revisions from clients or team members in a professional and timely manner. 

• 1-3 years of professional video and audio editing experience (portfolio required). 
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. 
• Experience with audio editing software like Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or Audacity. 
• Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus. 
• Strong understanding of video and audio formats, codecs, and export settings for various platforms. 
• Basic knowledge of colour correction and audio editing techniques (e.g., noise reduction, EQ, compression). 
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of timing and pacing. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication and organisational skills. 
• A creative mindset passionate about storytelling and visual/audio aesthetics. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing podcasts or long-form audio/video content. 
• Experience with 3D animation or advanced visual effects. 
• Knowledge of camera equipment and filming techniques. 
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana). 
• Understanding of social media trends and best practices for short-form content.
