Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting
- Assisting in the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and anomalies.
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Financial Analysis
- Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Preparing variance analysis reports to identify deviations from budget or forecast.
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Financial Reporting and Records
- Preparing and filing financial reports, tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
- Assisting in the preparation of ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Inputting financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, contracts, and bank statements.
- Performing bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and other reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Archiving financial records in accordance with retention policies.
Compliance and Legal
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Preparing and submitting required regulatory reports.
Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent professional certification.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, accounting software).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate financial information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
