In addition to creating financial reports and handling account reconciliations, the Senior Accounting role also involves keeping up with the general ledger, filing tax returns, helping with audit preparation, and completing other accounting tasks as needed.
Principal Responsibilities
- Collects and analyses financial information.
- Reviews financial statements and budgets.
- handles payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax filings.
- Coordinates programs and operations in accounting.
- Keeping up with file systems and records.
- Investigates into and resolving non-compliance issues, account irregularities, and audit results.
- Locate and utilize accounting data to address disparities and issues in accounting.
- Contributes to the creation of new or modified accounting programs, methods, and practices.
- Complete additional work as needed and as instructed by management.
- Maintain the privacy of all information.
- Any additional responsibilities that the Manager, Supervisor, or Partner may delegate at any moment
- Examine disparities and keep tabs on outstanding statement accounts.
- Performing additional accounting duties and helping junior personnel as required or assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related 4-year course.
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Experience in SAP system and tax filing
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Knowledgeable in using Excel, QuickBooks and other accounting related system.
- CPA is a plus
