About Aeven's Automation, AI & Tools Team

Aeven's Automation, AI & Tools division is a dynamic and innovative group at the forefront of technological advancement. We are responsible for delivering a comprehensive suite of integrated technologies, including Infrastructure Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Telemetry Monitoring & Logging Solutions (TMLS), Monitoring solutions, IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The Role: Automation Operations Specialist - Your Mission

As an Automation Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in automating infrastructure tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and optimizing our processes. You will be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Creating and maintaining unattended software installation packages for various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation scripts and processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and trends.
• Documenting automation processes and procedures.
• Improving and maintain existing automated processes.

Your Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for automation and a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications and experience:

• A strong automation mindset with meticulous attention to detail developed through experience in infrastructure automation.
• Experience with some or all the following deployment tools: Microsoft SCCM or Micro Focus Server Automation (SA).
• Experience Packaging and creating unattended software installation packages for Unix/Linux and Microsoft OS's.
• Experience with unattended installation of OS's.
• Familiarity with hardware environments, such as Cisco UCS, HP, HP Cloudline, etc.
• Knowledge of virtual environments like VMware and Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Mastery of one or more scripting languages: PowerShell, BAT/CMD, Bash, VBScript, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with runbook automation tools, including Micro Focus Operations Orchestration and Microsoft System Centre – Orchestrator.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 days per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
