Description
- Developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining a strong presence in the market.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell wines and spirits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including retailers, restaurants, bars, distributors, and wholesalers.
- Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs, offer product solutions, and provide education on the wines and spirits portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and industry research.
- Present product portfolios to customers and potential clients through tastings, presentations, and events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned territories to increase market penetration.
- Negotiate pricing, promotional deals, and contract terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, detailing performance against targets and market conditions.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for wines and spirits, representing the company at trade shows, events, and industry gatherings.
Requirements
- Graduate of any 4-year course, qualified in a business-related field.
- Strong knowledge of wines and spirits, with certifications such as WSET or Sommelier being a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Availability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
- Must be willing to work full time ONSITE and do field work
