Our client is in search of a hands-on Group Accounting Manager to take charge of end-to-end accounting across their Philippine and Singapore entities. The successful candidate will ensure the integrity of financial statements, drive continuous process improvement, and provide data-driven insights that help leadership steer the business. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise with strong people leadership skills, thriving in a fast-moving, multi-entity environment.
What You'll Do
As a Group Accounting Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple entities. Your role will involve preparing and analysing financial statements under PFRS and SFRS while ensuring full tax compliance. You will also manage external audits while strengthening internal controls. Your leadership skills will come into play as you oversee various accounting operations and lead a high-performing team.
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under PFRS and (ideally) SFRS.
- Lead month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Ensure full tax compliance in PH & SG, including audit management with the BIR.
- Manage all external audits (Big 4), owning schedules, reconciliations, and technical memos.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk-mitigation programs across accounting functions.
- Oversee GL, A/R, A/P, fixed assets, cash-management, and treasury.
- Refine policies and processes for scale and efficiency.
- Drive finance-system enhancements (QuickBooks and potential ERP migration).
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing accounting team across PH & SG.
- Set clear metrics, foster continuous learning, and cultivate a culture of ownership.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Ops, and senior leadership to deliver actionable financial insights.
- Support strategic projects and ad-hoc analyses requested by the CFO.
What You Bring
The ideal Group Accounting Manager will bring a wealth of experience in accounting management, including multi-entity consolidation. You should have a deep understanding of PFRS, with exposure to SFRS or IFRS being advantageous. Above all, you have demonstrated leadership abilities in high-growth environments and your commitment to continuous improvement will set you apart.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA required (CMA a plus).
- 8+ years of progressive accounting-management experience, including multi-entity consolidation.
- Big 4 audit background highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of PFRS (exposure to SFRS or IFRS advantageous).
- Proven track record in tax filings and audits, especially with the BIR.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (ERP migration experience a plus) and strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities in high-growth environments.
