Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding (Sourcing to Onboarding): Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for all positions within the company, from job requisition and crafting compelling job descriptions to sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer management, and contract preparation.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates from various channels.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and engaging integration for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing timely and effective resolution.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment by fostering open communication and addressing workplace issues in an impartial manner.
  • Assist in mediating conflicts and facilitating resolution between employees and management.
  • Performance Management: Support the implementation and administration of performance appraisal systems, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
  • Guide managers and employees on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions by company policy.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs (e.g., payroll inputs, health insurance, leave management).
  • Respond to employee queries regarding compensation, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Timekeeping & Payroll Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely collection and reconciliation of employee timekeeping records (e.g., daily time records, attendance logs).
  • Prepare and process payroll for all employees in coordination with the Finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws, company policies, and statutory requirements (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Manage payroll deductions, adjustments, and remittances.
  • Address employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs within the organization and assist in coordinating and implementing development programs for employees.
  • Support initiatives for employee growth and career progression.
  • HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR practices, policies, and procedures comply with Philippine labor laws and company regulations.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and handbooks.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (both physical and digital) in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Offboarding: Manage the employee offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews, processing final pay, and ensuring a smooth transition for departing employees.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and analyze HR reports related to recruitment, turnover, attendance, and other key HR metrics to support decision-making.
  • Travel Requirement: Regularly travel to NCR branch offices to provide on-site HR support, conduct recruitment activities, facilitate training sessions, address employee relations issues, and ensure consistent application of HR policies across all locations.
  • General HR Support: Act as a business partner to management, providing HR insights and support for various operational needs.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist, demonstrating proficiency across all core HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, training, and offboarding), ideally within the construction or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently to various branch offices in NCR.
  • Must be willing to be primarily deployed and based in Lipa, Batangas.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment and adapt to changing demands.
