Conduct training sessions for coders on updates and guidelines.
Review and audit coding work for quality assurance.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding queries.
Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field.
Experience Level: 5-10 years of relevant experience in medical coding.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in ED/EM coding, inpatient and outpatient coding, CCS and CPC certifications required, ability to work independently.
Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee coding accuracy, ensure compliance with regulations, provide training and guidance to team members.
Working Conditions: Primarily office-based environment; may involve remote work opportunities.
