Description

  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong skills in project coordination, purchasing, marketing research, and inventory management.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Managing vendor relationships, optimizing purchasing processes, and conducting market analysis.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to meet suppliers.
  • Qualities and Traits: Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
