Job Summary
The Client Acquisition Manager is a pivotal role driving the company's growth through strategic client engagement and business development. Responsibilities include establishing rapport with potential clients, planning and executing marketing initiatives, researching new opportunities, and identifying untapped markets. The Client Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the company's success by contributing to a robust sales pipeline and fostering lasting client relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cultivating connections with potential clients to establish strong rapport and facilitate meaningful meetings.
- Strategizing and supervising innovative marketing initiatives aligned with the company's vision.
- Conducting thorough research on organizations and individuals to uncover promising opportunities.
- Proactively identifying and cultivating new markets to foster a robust business pipeline.
- Actively participating in conferences, meetings, and industry events to stay abreast of market trends.
- Crafting quotes and proposals for clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
- Executing compelling sales presentations to showcase the value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaborating with key decision-makers, fostering business relationships, and effectively managing client accounts.
- Identifying novel business opportunities through exploration of untapped and unique client segments.
- Generating leads within assigned industries, conglomerates, or brands, and initiating the sales process.
- Providing exceptional client service, actively seeking briefings and feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Completing job orders, conducting internal briefings, and offering initial insights to support creative and project teams in crafting presentation decks and quotations.
- Posing pertinent questions to clients to gain a deeper understanding of briefs and directives.
- Participating in internal meetings and business reviews as required by team leads, managers, or directors.
- Ensuring timely and accurate weekly reporting on progress and outcomes.
- Consistently striving to meet and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Formal Education or Equivalent
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree in a relevant discipline would be an added advantage.
Related Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or marketing roles, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated experience in cultivating and managing client relationships, particularly with key decision-makers.
- Previous experience in planning and executing successful marketing initiatives, including market research, lead generation, and campaign management.
- Familiarity with the industry and market trends, with a keen ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Experience in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to a diverse audience.
- Prior exposure to client servicing and managing client feedback and expectations.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively; proficient in preparing professional quotes, proposals, and presentations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams; strong negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively engage with key decision-makers.
- Proficient in conducting market research, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable strategies; ability to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills; capable of overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles; familiarity with various sales techniques and strategies for lead generation and conversion.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment and quickly learn and apply new concepts; proactive in seeking out innovative solutions.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative and project management teams, to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets; regularly assesses progress and adjusts strategies to meet objectives.
