The Workday Reporting Product Owner leads the strategy and implementation of the Workday reporting products ensuring that the Workday application is utilised and developed to provide optimised solutions for end users to access and consume reporting and data.
Responsibilities:
- Platform Implementation and Management
- Work with Workforce Measurement squad, HR Planning & Change, HR Service Design & Delivery, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure the Workday products are implemented on time and on budget
- Act as the primary contact with the technology partner or supporting implementation vendor to develop a solution that is best practice and where required customized in-line with QBE’s needs
- Drive continuous improvement of the Workday reporting solution platform leveraging the technology to drive the desired employee experience outcomes
- Identify and proactively report key risk areas for HR data and reporting areas (eg incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or ambiguous data, data privacy exposures)
- Proactively explore new Workday reporting products and define the potential value, use case and implementation across the Organisation
- Introduce and execute new ideas to continuously improve reporting service, application, and customer satisfaction.
- Technology implemented on time and on budget
- Adoption of technology by key stakeholders
- Captured data, deliver solutions that drive continuous improvement in-line with strategic priorities
- Information is provided in alignment with data privacy and security requirements
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Demonstrate/obtain an understanding of stakeholders’ perspectives, expectations, and requirements.
- Coordinate between HR stakeholders and IT (where applicable) to ensure that business/user requirements are delivered that meet the business objectives of HR.
- Actively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to determine key areas of improvement in existing processes.
- Ensure key stakeholders are getting the most out of the technology and strategy through continuous engagement, socializing planning, delivery, and retrospective evaluation activities
- Share knowledge and upskill stakeholders across QBE on new capabilities and functionality
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and apply influencing, negotiation, and consultation skills in achieving desired outcomes.
- People Leader, HRLT & HRBP adoption of technology
- Strategy Delivery and Continuous Improvement
- Understand the importance of the organization's vision and essential values. Ability to implement initiatives and directives from senior management.
- Work with Group Head, HR Data and Analytics, IT, HRDG and supporting teams to design an effective BAU operating model that ensures new technology and solutions are appropriately maintained
- Ensure continuous improvement by tracking strategy performance against objectives, finding opportunities and socializing them with key stakeholders for solution design
- Continuous improvement of data delivery providing employee data to the right people at the right time
- Drive meaningful insights and continuous action
- Deliver solutions that enable easy identification of data trends and insight
- Design and deliver campaigns that educate people leaders to drive action and report actions taken
- Notable improvements in data literacy and data availability
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Very strong Workday Reporting Application knowledge
- Knowledge of Prism and embedding into large organizations
- Embedding new technology and ways of working to ensure end-user adoption
- Partner/supplier relationship management
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Ability to collaborate and negotiate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders
- Ability to assimilate complex data from multiple sources.
- Communicate with influence to drive adoption and value
- Analytical thinking and comfortable with numbers
- Mining data to effectively and simply present findings
- High attention to detail
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Advance knowledge of Workday Reporting
- Knowledge of Workday Prism
- Knowledge of underlying Workday Business Objects
- Knowledge of HR metrics.
- Risk and responsibilities associated with managing confidential data
