? What You Will Do?
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of supporting documentation for monthly closing processes (General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Profit/Loss statements, etc.).
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial reports and statements.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decisions.
Invoice and Tax Administration:
- Supervise the preparation of all invoice calculations, ensuring no discrepancies between calculations and invoices.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax administration reports in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
Cash Flow and Financial Obligations Management:
- Ensure timely processing of the company’s financial obligations.
- Provide accurate and timely financial statements to control and manage the company’s cash flow effectively.
- Manage petty cash requests to support operational activities.
Compliance and Vendor Management:
- Collect, document, and process vendor’s tax and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policy.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for preparation and statutory submissions.
Asset and Liability Management:
- Oversee the preparation of supporting data for fixed assets, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), stock, and loans to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
Payroll and Expense Management:
- Assist in managing payroll, related expenses, claims, and all purchasing functions.
- Ensure all financial documents are accurately filed and maintained.
Coordination and Problem Resolution:
- Plan, coordinate, and resolve accounting and finance matters with other members, departments, locations, and divisions.
- Support the team with any related tasks as needed.
Leadership:
- Manage the Finance & Accounting team, including setting and ensuring members to achieve their goals (KPI/OKR), conduct 1-on-1 sessions and performance reviews.
Assist in any ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
✅ What You Need to Have?
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or equivalent qualifications would be highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 1-2 years in a managerial or senior finance role.
- Extensive experience in managing finance functions in Philippines (PH)
- Proven track record in financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience working in multinational or regional companies is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software (e.g., Xero, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of local accounting standards and regulations in both PH (PFRS for PH )
- Familiarity with financial analysis tools and reporting systems.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across regions.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, financial modeling).
- Knowledge of tax laws and compliance requirements in PH
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Filipino (Tagalog) is preferred for handling local operations in the Philippines.
